DESCRIPTION
At 1255 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers near McKinleyville, or near Arcata, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Blue Lake, Myrtletown, Cutten, Hydesville, Freshwater, Kneeland, Arcata Arpt, Pine Hills, Bayview, Samoa, and Humboldt Hill.
