* WHAT…Flooding is possible. Peak stage is forecast near 23 feet.
* WHERE…Mad River near Arcata. Flood stage is most likely to be reached by 8 PM local time this evening.
* WHEN…From this evening to late tonight.
* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Significant flooding of portions of Mad River Beach Road and adjacent farmlands is likely. May cause water to flow across roads to Tyee City. High tides and strong, onshore winds will aggravate flood impacts.
