INSTRUCTIONS

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE…Southern Humboldt, Southern Trinity, Mendocino County, and Lake County.

* WHEN…From late tonight through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - A storm system will start to bring rain along the coast during the day Friday, helping to saturate soils. More consistent, moderate rain will fall during the day Saturday with total rainfall of 1.8 to 3.5 inches most likely.
