INSTRUCTIONS

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

DESCRIPTION

A strong atmospheric river is expected to bring heavy rain Tuesday evening through early Thursday morning bringing six to ten inches of rainfall across the area.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE…A portion of northwest California, including the following areas, Coastal Del Norte, Del Norte Interior, Northern Humboldt Interior and Southern Humboldt Interior.

* WHEN…From late tonight through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
