INSTRUCTIONS

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE…A portion of northwest California, including the following area, Northern Humboldt Coast.

* WHEN…Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. This may include Jacoby Creek at Old Arcata Road, the Hookton Rd off ramp by Loleta and the Elk River.
