DESCRIPTION

At 607 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking strong showers and storms along a line extending from near Jack McNamera Field to 22 miles southwest of Petrolia. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hail covered roadways could make roadways icy.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Crescent City, Orick, Honeydew, Klamath, Jack McNamera Field, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Trinidad, Weitchpec, Carlotta, Bridgeville, Petrolia, and Myers Flat.
