DESCRIPTION

At 323 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Orick to 12 miles west of Eureka to 18 miles northwest of Petrolia. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Orick, Fortuna, Rio Dell, McKinleyville, Carlotta, Westhaven-Moonstone, Scotia, Ferndale, Myrtletown, Cutten, Hydesville, Capetown, Humboldt Hill, Freshwater, Arcata Arpt, Bayview, Fernbridge, and Samoa.
