DESCRIPTION

…UNSEASONABLY COLD STORM TO BRING WET SNOW ABOVE 2500 FEET SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Snow above 2500 feet. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Small Hail may be possible.

* WHERE…Trinity County, Humboldt Interior, Del Norte Interior, and Northeastern Mendocino Interior.

* WHEN…Until 5 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel delays due to slick roads and reduced visibilities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Hourly snowfall rates around one inch an hour are highly probable (greater than a 70% chance) Saturday. Snow levels are most uncertain and could vary to as low as 2000 feet to as high as 3500 feet. Small Hail may be possible as cooler air approaches.
