DESCRIPTION

At 206 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Trinidad to 28 miles west of Petrolia. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Locally heavy rain is expected with this line.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Petrolia, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Myrtletown, Cutten, Hydesville, Capetown, Humboldt Hill, Freshwater, Samoa, Arcata Arpt, Loleta, Rohnerville, and Fieldbrook.
