DESCRIPTION

At 254 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Westhaven-Moonstone to 11 miles west of Petrolia. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Strongest over the higher terrain.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Willow Creek, Fortuna, Rio Dell, McKinleyville, Maple Creek, Carlotta, Westhaven-Moonstone, Scotia, Petrolia, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Myrtletown, Cutten, Hydesville, Capetown, Humboldt Hill, Freshwater, and Kneeland.
