DESCRIPTION

At 1012 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Eureka to 6 miles northwest of Fortuna. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Willow Creek, Fortuna, Maple Creek, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Myrtletown, Cutten, Fairhaven, Hydesville, Humboldt Hill, Freshwater, Samoa, Kneeland, Loleta, Rohnerville, Pine Hills, Bayview, and Fernbridge.
