…The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in California…

Mad River near Arcata affecting Northern Humboldt Coast zone.

* WHAT…Flooding is possible.

* WHERE…Mad River near Arcata.

* WHEN…From this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 21.0 feet, Flooding of Mad River Beach Road. Water may be flowing over roads to Tyee City. Flooding will be enhanced if the time of the crest is coincident with high tides and strong onshore winds.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 10:45 AM PST Sunday the stage was 20.3 feet. - Forecast…Flood stage may be reached based on the latest forecast information. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
