Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* WHERE…Humboldt Interior, Del Norte Interior, and Southwestern Humboldt, mainly over the higher terrain and wind prone areas.

* WHEN…Until 7 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal headlands. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
