Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 4 inches above 2500 ft, including Berry Summit on Highway 299. Locally higher amounts over peaks.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior.

* WHEN…From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Tire chains may be necessary if travelling through mountain passes.
