At 1226 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers over Eureka, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.
Locations impacted include… Myrtletown, Cutten, Eureka, Bayview, Samoa, Pine Hills, Humboldt Hill, and Arcata.
