INSTRUCTIONS

Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.

DESCRIPTION

At 1231 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers 15 miles west of Fortuna, or 23 miles southwest of Eureka, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hazardous conditions to motorists Exercise caution when driving over small hail.

Locations impacted include… Ferndale and Capetown.
