INSTRUCTIONS

Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.

DESCRIPTION

At 126 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Whitehorn, or near Shelter Cove, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hazardous conditions to motorists Exercise caution when driving over small hail.

Locations impacted include… Whitehorn, Leggett, Shelter Cove, Richardson Grove State Park, Piercy, Briceland, Honeydew, and Ettersburg.
