INSTRUCTIONS

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.

DESCRIPTION

At 331 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from 6 miles west of McKinleyville to 13 miles northwest of Petrolia, or extending from 9 miles northwest of Arcata to 23 miles northwest of Honeydew, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Carlotta, Scotia, Pepperwood, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Freshwater, Kneeland, Pine Hills, Cutten, Myrtletown and Hydesville.
