Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.
DESCRIPTION
At 819 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a shower 6 miles south of Petrolia, or 7 miles west of Honeydew, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hazardous conditions to motorist. Exercise caution when driving over small hail.
Locations impacted include… Honeydew, Petrolia and Ettersburg.
