DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of northwest California, including the following counties, southeastern Humboldt and northwestern Mendocino.
* WHEN…Until 300 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 102 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the last hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include… Garberville, Richardson Grove State Park, Shelter Cove, Redway, Richardson Grove, Whitehorn, Alderpoint, Benbow, Piercy, Briceland, Miranda, Fort Seward and Blocksburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
