Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.

DESCRIPTION

At 758 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from near Eureka to 11 miles west of Petrolia, or extending from near Eureka to 19 miles west of Honeydew, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Scotia, Carlotta, Petrolia, McKinleyville, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Rohnerville, Fernbridge, Hydesville, Loleta, Humboldt Hill, Pine Hills, Bayview, Cutten, Freshwater and Myrtletown.
