INSTRUCTIONS

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northwest California, including the following county, southwestern Humboldt.

* WHEN…Until 230 PM PST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 1123 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches have fallen between 8 am and 1130 am as more rain continues. This additional rain could result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include… Honeydew. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
