DESCRIPTION

At 933 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles east of McKinleyville, or 7 miles northeast of Arcata, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include… Mainly rural areas of Central Humboldt County.
