INSTRUCTIONS

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution, especially in forested areas.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. Mostly along exposed coastal headlands.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Coast. Mostly along exposed coastal headlands.

* WHEN…Until 2 PM PST this afternoon. After an overnight lull, winds are expected to increase again through late morning.

* IMPACTS…Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward ridges. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The strongest winds are expected after dark.
