…The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in California…
Mad River near Arcata affecting Northern Humboldt Coast zone.
* WHAT…Flooding is possible.
* WHERE…Mad River near Arcata.
* WHEN…From this afternoon to this evening.
* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding begins on the Mad River Beach Road near Tyee City. At 18.0 feet, Minor flooding of Mad River Beach Road near Tyee City. At 21.0 feet, Flooding of Mad River Beach Road. Water may be flowing over roads to Tyee City. Flooding will be enhanced if the time of the crest is coincident with high tides and strong onshore winds.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 7:45 AM PST Sunday the stage was 13.3 feet. - Forecast…Rises on the river are possible over the next few days. The river may reach flood stage. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
