* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE…Northern Humboldt County in northwestern California… West Central Trinity County in northwestern California…
* Until 730 PM PST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 1034 AM PST, Local law enforcement reported flooding already occurring in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include… Eureka, Arcata, Hoopa, Willow Creek, Orick, Trinidad, Maple Creek, McKinleyville, Weitchpec, Westhaven-Moonstone, Salyer, Blue Lake, Fieldbrook, Kneeland, Arcata Arpt, Freshwater, Myrtletown, Cutten, Pine Hills and Bayview. - Major flooding is occurring around Humboldt Bay, especially in Freshwater area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
