DESCRIPTION
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…Southern Humboldt County in northwestern California… Southwestern Trinity County in northwestern California…
* Until 645 PM PST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… - At 1203 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include… Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Garberville, Richardson Grove State Park, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Bridgeville, Weott, Myers Flat, Dinsmore, Pepperwood, Alderpoint, Redway, Carlotta, Scotia, Richardson Grove, Ruth, Ferndale, Miranda, Blocksburg and Shively. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
