Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
DESCRIPTION
At 1218 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Whitehorn, or near Shelter Cove, moving north at 50 mph.
HAZARD…Landspouts possible, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include… Garberville, Richardson Grove State Park, Shelter Cove, Redway, Whitehorn, Richardson Grove, Briceland, Ettersburg, Benbow, Miranda and Piercy.
