Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
DESCRIPTION
At 846 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from 11 miles northwest of Petrolia to 21 miles southwest of Shelter Cove, or extending from 20 miles northwest of Honeydew to 21 miles southwest of Shelter Cove, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include… Honeydew, Shelter Cove, Garberville, Rio Dell, Weott, Myers Flat, Pepperwood, Scotia, Petrolia, Redway, Whitehorn, Bull Creek, Ettersburg, Shively, Briceland, Miranda, Benbow and Capetown.
