INSTRUCTIONS

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.

DESCRIPTION

At 934 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms over Pepperwood, or over Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, moving north-northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include… Honeydew, Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Scotia, Pepperwood, Weott, Petrolia, Carlotta, Myers Flat, Bull Creek, Shively, Ettersburg, Hydesville and Rohnerville.
