The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for… South Central Humboldt County in northwestern California…

* Until 1145 AM PST.

* At 1110 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Shelter Cove, moving north at 60 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include… Shelter Cove, Honeydew and Ettersburg.
