Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.
DESCRIPTION
At 1110 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a shower near Rio Dell, or 15 miles west of Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hazardous conditions to motorists.
Locations impacted include… Honeydew, Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Rio Dell, Scotia, Petrolia, Pepperwood, Bull Creek, Shively and Capetown.
