INSTRUCTIONS

Exercise caution when driving over small hail.

Small hail can quickly accumulate on roadways resulting in slippery conditions. Go easy on brakes and steering to avoid spin-outs.

DESCRIPTION

At 1248 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a shower near Myers Flat, or 10 miles east of Honeydew, moving east at 45 mph. Small hail accumulation includes over Highway 101

HAZARD…Pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hazardous conditions to motorists.

Locations impacted include… Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, Honeydew, Weott, Myers Flat, Pepperwood, Bridgeville, Scotia, Dinsmore, Alderpoint, Petrolia, Shively, Bull Creek, Miranda, Fort Seward and Blocksburg.
