DESCRIPTION
At 803 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from 6 miles east of Westhaven-Moonstone to 23 miles northwest of Petrolia, or extending from 12 miles northeast of Arcata to 24 miles southwest of Eureka, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include… Eureka, Arcata, Willow Creek, Fortuna, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Ferndale, Blue Lake, Freshwater, Myrtletown, Cutten, Pine Hills, Kneeland, Bayview, Humboldt Hill, Fernbridge, Fieldbrook, Loleta, Arcata Arpt and Rohnerville.
