Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

…PERIODS OF RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING…

.Rain, snow and small hail showers are expected to diminish tonight and Wednesday with another round of low snow, rain and small hail Wednesday night evening through early Thursday morning.

* WHAT…Widespread small hail showers are occurring, resulting in ice accumulation and extremely slippery driving conditions. Conditions may rapidly change from rain to hail.

* WHERE…Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast.

* WHEN…Until 4 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
