Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
DESCRIPTION
At 315 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fortuna, or 11 miles south of Eureka, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include… Fortuna, Fernbridge, Loleta, Pine Hills, Humboldt Hill and Rohnerville.
