INSTRUCTIONS

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

DESCRIPTION

* AFFECTED AREA…Trinity County, Northeastern Humboldt County, and southwestern Siskiyou County.

* THUNDERSTORMS…Isolated to scattered dry thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Activity may continue overnight into early Wednesday morning.

* OUTFLOW WINDS…Gusty and erratic outflow winds likely with any thunderstorms. Winds may gust to 50 mph or higher with the strongest cells.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
