Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
DESCRIPTION
At 632 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms 9 miles northwest of Dinsmore, or 14 miles northeast of Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include… Mainly rural areas of East Central Humboldt County.
