Slow down and use caution while traveling.

The latest road conditions for the state of California can be obtained by calling 1-800-GAS-ROAD.

DESCRIPTION

* WHAT…For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected above 3500 ft MSL with total snow accumulations of 7 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected between 2000 ft MSL and 3500 ft MSL with total snow accumulations of up to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Humboldt Interior and Southern Humboldt Interior Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, from 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Thursday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
