Hanging Around

As of this Monday, July 21st, Federal officers were still being seen around the county.  Apparently returning from business in the hinterlands, three officers in two vehicles were seen at the Chevron in Eureka around 5:30 pm.  One bronze sedan and one dark SUV both with non official plates were gassing up covered with the patina of dust that usually indicates dirt road driving.  The agents were not shy about their business.  They were all wearing t-shirts emblazoned with the title “Federal officer,” camouflage pants and were carrying side arms. One even had two handguns—both in front and in back.
