Bear Buttes with Fog

Rising up beside Salmon Creek School,  Bear Buttes shoulders aside the clouds in the photo above.  Everyday the trees on the mountain provide the clear air our children breathe.  Deer graze on the playground and wild turkeys gobble under the swing set.  We live in a beautiful place and, sadly, as Kato said in an email…

“Our population of children is shrinking in Salmon Creek, and without a fresh batch of kids, the school faces an uncertain year in the fall, despite being in the best financial shape in years.  If you know of any families with young children who may be at all interested, please encourage them to check it out.  The play-group for preschoolers will be happening regardless of older student enrollment.  Thanks!”
