Tonight, I’m going to town to investigate the new cannabis college in Humboldt. They are offering their first class, Storing and Curing. In spite of having lived here my whole life, I’m looking forward to learning the latest techniques. This class is taught by Kevin Jodrey, the Cultivation Director of Humboldt Patient Resource Center in Arcata, one of the finest dispensaries I’ve learned about. Their emphasis on environmental and community responsibility impresses me. Several growers and consumers I respect have spoken highly of Jodrey.
In addition, Joey Burger of Trim Scene Solutions will demonstrate a machine that vacuum seals pot (as well as food, etc.) I have seen the machine. Tales of what it can do intrigue me. Two years and pot looks like and tastes like it was sealed yesterday—-so I’ve been told. That has some possibilities for outdoor growers
This will be 707 Cannabis College’s first class/workshop tonight, September 10, 2010 at 6pm. Make reservations here.
UPDATE: Here is the article I wrote about curing.
