Have you ever been to the tiny town of Petrolia? If you haven’t, you are missing out on a delightful slice Humboldt.
The Mattole Valley Community Center’s annual Midsummer Festival will be held Saturday, August 13, from noon to 6 p.m. in sunny Petrolia. Come on down (if you’re going to the County Fair anyway, it’s just a side trip)—we’re only an hour south of Ferndale on one of the world’s most scenic drives, the Wildcat Road! Camping available at the mouth of the Mattole River or at A.W. Way County Park, on the beautiful Mattole River.
Local food, arts and crafts, farmers’ market and music featuring the P-Town Freaks and Joe Garceau. Call 707-629-3656 for more information or to reserve booth space.
This free-admission event is a benefit for the Mattole Valley Community Center.
