Coastal Currents:
Camel Rock/Houda Point: CCC, Surfrider Humboldt, & Trinidad Coastal Land Trust were about to mortar a new patio during their improvement jamboree.
Mysteriously, the requisite rocks vanished, & with them the dreams of a boffo place for a sunset picnic.
The rocks really would’ve tied the patio together, & Don Allan of the TCLT just wants them back, please.
He doesn’t even seem that bent about it:
“You can buy rock for about $20 per ton so the monetary loss wasn’t great, but it’s a major hassle to replace. We’re an all-volunteer board and just taking care of basic maintenance is challenging enough. When someone takes our rock, it’s a major bummer, and a lot of extra work.”
