Kim Sallaway has taken more photos of the county’s workers finishing the Briceland Road. He expects them to open the road by 8:30.  He says workers were packing up and calling their wives.  Sallaway was impressed by the efforts of the road workers.  “They need to put a statue up to these guys. …They worked a lot of hours.”   He also passed on his admiration for several members of the community who stepped up to help.  He said that a member of the Wilcox family went out yesterday and filled potholes on Old Briceland Road.  He also is appreciative of the new Facebook page SoHum Awareness that is trying to get information out there. Everybody who “likes” the page gets updates on their Facebook news page.  Twitter updates can be texted straight to your phone if you sign up for it (all free.)
