Well, well, well! The California Department of Justice continues to refuse to return phone calls, but the pieces are all adding up — courtesy of a story in today’s Reading (Pa.) Eagle.

The Eagle reports that William Byron of Eureka, owner of The Humboldt County Collective, was arrested in the Pennsylvania town of  Wyomissing Thursday after 25 elbows of prime Emerald Triangle tea was intercepted en route to an address where Byron was staying.

Says the Eagle:

The investigation began Tuesday when Wyomissing police were alerted by a narcotics interdiction team from the California Department of Justice that a suspicious package addressed to a fictitious person on Sturbridge was to be shipped overnight. The package weighed 39 pounds, and the shipping fee was paid in cash, they said.
