The Kuljian family members swept out to sea at Big Lagoon will be remembered on Sunday at 3pm at Arcata High School’s main gymnasium.
Three of four family members were swept out to sea after their dog Fran was pulled into the waves while chasing a stick.
Family friend Tisa Lucchesi-Cook spoke with KHUM this morning about the memorial.
At Olivia Kuljian’s request, there will be a sing-along to “(I’ll Be With You) In Apple Blossom Time.” The Andrews Sisters tune was a family favorite, says Luccesi-Cook.
