Dawn Elsbree with the Headwaters Fund and Jon Sapper from the Humboldt County Office of Education (HCOE) will be making a community presentation at Redway School on August 1st at 6pm. Come learn about the Headwaters Fund, its priorities and programs and the potential for funding projects in Southern Humboldt to improve the economy.

 

Jon Sapper will discuss the Decade of Difference initiative, a ten year funding commitment from the Headwaters Fund to HCOE to ensure that all local school children complete their primary education and are offered information about potential careers and linked to the training or post-secondary education necessary for them to achieve their goals. Beginning in 2012, Redway School will be enrolled in this innovative new program.
