On 06-30-2012, approximately 11:30 p.m., a Humboldt County Sheriffs Deputy and Hoopa Tribal Police located and arrested Louis Dale Mitchell on Mitchell Road, Weitchpec. The deputy and Tribal Officer located Mitchell after he ran out of gas and was sitting in his vehicle in the roadway. He was in the company of an adult female who was interviewed and released. Mitchell was wanted for attempted murder after shooting at an occupied vehicle. An arrest warrant was issued for Mitchell for Attempted Murder with a bail of $500,000.00. His bail was set at $500,000.00.
