UPDATE 6:20: PG&E opened up the road after about an hour, says Diana Totten. But she says it looks like that they will close back down again. When she went through, she says traffic was backed up for about a half mile in each direction. Avoid the area if at all possible.

Briceland Rd. about 1 mile east of the Ettersburg Junction is closed to repair the lines that went down earlier today. (Erroneously reported as in Redway.) Traffic is backing up and has been stopped for about a half hour at this point to replace a pole. Try to delay going out there.  I’ve a call into PG&E and hope to have more information soon
